How Do I Go About Finding A Voice Teacher?
I am considering getting a voice teacher...but don't know how to go about finding one. How do I find people in my area?
Oh, and I'm a guy, so is it better to have a male instructor or a female?
I am home schooled, so talking to one of my choir teachers or something isn't an option.
Talk to chorus and music teachers at your school, usually they know people. Also talk to your friends or people at you school that are in Chorus or may take voice lessons. you can also call up music stores and performing arts schools (My dance school offers them) and ask around.

if its a good voice teacher the gender doesnt matter. how old are you? if you are in school, ask your music teachers if they know someone. otherwise look for music schools in the yellow pages.
