I have a Sis 7018 sound card, I read on the internet that you have to install the drivers to be able to record sound. The problem: Any site I go to for drivers the "Setup" file won’t work. The readme file that comes with the drivers only gives instructions for Windows 98/Windows 98SE/Windows 2000 and Windows ME. Am I doing something wrong?, Am I going to the wrong place (I went to the Sis Website, and those wouldn’t work). Please help, I want to be able to use voice chat on Yahoo Messenger!!!

Hey i recently got my iPhone 3GS on a 24 month plan with Vodafone and when my dad calls me he says it rings about 5 times before it goes onto my voice mail / answering machine and was wondering if there is any way to edit that? and please give me instructions on where to go in the iphone. thanks.

try calling voice mail the number for it is usally in ur contacts if its not call the providers of the cell phone plan they should be able to help u help me?? anyone

If you are sure you have the feature on your account then all you need to do is press and hold the 1 key until it says calling voicemail on the screen and then let go of the 1 key. Hold the phone up to your ear and listen to the brief tutorial and she will walk you thru setting it up from there. Do not exit the system until it tells you to or it will not work

I believe Oracom have gone bust. I can’t remember if the microphone is built in. I have set the machine to record but the file size I get is zero.

The manufacturers website (Korea) does not look healthy although there are remnants of an FAQ section – which unfortunately doesn`t cover voice recording.

However there is a UK distributor who might be worth sending an email to in the hope they can send you the manual / instruction set. They do have a support enquiry form to fill out and send in. Link also below.

On the far right bottom side there should be a voicemail
Press Voicemail
I believe it should say that you need to set up your vociemail

I’m trying to make a set of tutorials on basic Windows stuff fo a friend. I guess I could use my video camera, but the quality won’t be as sharp. And is there any way to have voice instructions recorded simultaneously?

You can use Hypercam from Hyperionics (www.hyperionics.com) for the recording software. It can also integrate your microphone under the settings of the software. You set a recording window, an output folder, and then press start!

You can later edit it in movie maker, or w/e video editing software you want!

I just want to have a backup in case my voice doesn’t come back in time. I can’t really play piano and I don’t know any magic tricks (though if you have step by step instructions, I can figure it out) so if there are any easy ideas, I would seriously appreciate it!!!

I have no idea what you could do BUT to help get your voice back try to find this tea called Throat Coat. It should be in the herbal section of your grocery store. It is amazing.

Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ should do what you need to record something that’s coming out of your speakers. Set your record setting to line out and record everything you need. I’ve recorded live concerts on line using Audacity.

The bonus is that since Audacity is a sound editor you can cut out bits and pieces of the audio if you need to as well.

I have this old cordless phone made before Radio shack started using Unidens. The only info I have is this: it’s 900MHz cordless, the serial number is 06010949 and above the serial number is some numbers that are 02H00. I can’t see a model number or anything else but that. I need to find a manual or instructions on how to change the message on the machine. A friend gave it to me and helped me change the message with my voice. She has since passed away. Any ideas??

maybe you could check on google or yahoo search. It might have a site with the manual someplace.
